Local Data Jobs

Many of our SouthHills students and graduates find themselves working with data at their internships and first jobs. They might be doing things like:

• adding data to an IT ticketing system as they solve problems at the technology help desk

• creating a new database from scratch, so the new program they are creating can store data to effectively solve a business problem

• working with low-code solutions that use data to automate business workflows

• manipulating and creating graphs in Excel or other data tools

• moving data in the cloud and performing regular database backups

• writing information security policies to protect the data in their organization
